04/ How we work
Three steps.
No mystery, no meters, no middlemen.
We've bought consulting from the client's chair, and we've built our process around everything that frustrated us about it.
Operations review
A thirty-minute conversation with a senior operator — not a salesperson. We walk through how orders arrive, where your product data lives, what your trading partners are asking for, and where the friction is costing you time and margin. You leave with a clear read on your setup whether or not we ever work together.
A straight assessment of where your ordering, data and systems stand — and what to fix first.
Fixed-scope proposal
If there's work worth doing, we scope it precisely: deliverables, timeline and a fixed fee. No day rates that drift, no open-ended retainers, no lock-in contracts. If the numbers don't stack up for you, we'll say so — a proposal that doesn't pay for itself is not a proposal we send.
A written scope with fixed pricing you can hold us to — approved before anything starts.
Delivery, reported weekly
The people who scoped the work do the work — no handoff to juniors, no account-manager layer. Every week you get a plain-language progress report: what moved, what's next, what needs your input. When we finish, your team can run what we've built.
Working systems, clean data and a team that knows how to operate them — plus a weekly paper trail.
P/ Engagement principles
The rules we hold ourselves to on every engagement
Fixed fees, agreed up front
You'll never get a surprise invoice. Every dollar is scoped and approved before work begins.
Senior people, always
The operators you meet in the review are the operators who deliver the work.
Weekly plain-language reporting
You always know what moved, what's next and what it costs. No jargon, no surprises.
Built to hand over
We build capability inside your business, not dependence on ours. Every engagement ends with your team in control.
